Dr. Lisa C. Pieraccini – Project Director

Marvin Morris is a fifth year undergraduate at the University of California, Berkeley studying Classical Civilizations. Marvin worked this summer along side his academic mentor, Dr. Lisa Pieraccini, on a group of Etruscan tomb assemblages from the 4th and 3rd centuries BCE that were excavated in the early part of the 20th century at the Banditaccia Necropolis in Cerveteri. This project was done in collaboration with the Soprintendenza per i Beni Archeologici dell'Etruria Meridionale, Dr. Alfonsina Russo, Dr. Rita Cosentino and Dr. Gabriella Serio. Special thanks to our collaborators in this first year project: Monica Arduini, Orlando Cerasuolo and Francesca Mizzoni.
